I LIKE sandals. and barefoot also. Wearing sandals means to me the situation is relaxed, no machinery to operate, nothing to hit my feet. My toes can perspire and get aired out.
I come from a Northern Clime, I've still got acreage in Northern Vermont, darn near Canada.
When we lived up there in the '60's and '70's my Grandfather would occasionally wear sandals during the summer. That always meant kick back and relax for the rest of the day, drink iced tea and enjoy the fruits of your labors.
