What do you do with your Instant Pot you cant do with a crock pot?

The question came up on another thread: How do you sauté onions in the Instant Pot without using oil. I have never used oil in the Instant Pot - I don't need the extra fat calories. Here is a short youtube I found that does it the same way that I do it.

I don't mind a tablespoon of olive oil or grapeseed oil to saute my onions in. In the grand scheme of things, I doubt that is what kills me.

That is what I believe. I use extra virgin California Brand* I also use avocado oil**. Very similar to olive oil but higher smoke temperature

Things that I saute at a lower temperature like onions, I use extra virgin olive oil, but most things I use avocado.

Good for the skin also. Sure softens up the ol' hide.

I gave up on avocados, the past several purchases were black when I got them home and cut in to them. Not returning them to the store 130 miles away.

Suppose to be good for you, IF you don't cook it, the heating is what kills the "good for you" part.

I always rub a bit of olive oil in the bottom/sides of my power pressure cooker, before cooking meat in it.
