New Holland TT75
I bought a 3PL Logsplitter that works off the tractors hydraulics. Tomorrow I am going to be buying some hoses to connect it up, as it didn't come with any.

I have elbow fittings that fit the splitters control valve, which I will take to the hydraulic shop, but what do I tell them the other end is connecting to?

Looking online there seem to be alot of different QD plugs/sockets. The New Holland parts manual just says "Quick Connector Coupling".

Thanks.

There are several makers of QD's like Pioneer, and Safeway, not sure who NH uses to supply theres...

Possibly your dealer will have the male QD in stock? Are there any numbers on the female(tractor) side?

my NH uses ISO type fittings 1/2 on the remotes.
There is a body size A and a size B It's the smaller one but I don't remember which is which. All ISO fittings are supposed to be interchangable but I notice I have some males that are a little harder to plug into the females than others. but they all work.
Try this link you can see most stuff.

1/2" Pioneer Male is what you'll need.

There are several styles of Quick Disconnect Couplings on the market. Many of them are manufactured to ISO specifications, which serve as industry standards and allow interchangeability between manufacturers. There are a lot of ISO specifications that cover QDs for a variety of industries and applications

The most common couplers on farm tractors are ISO 5675. Some of the couplers that meet this specification are:
  • Parker (formerly Pioneer) '4000' Series
  • Safeway 'S20' Series
  • Discount Hydraulic Hose.com 'AG' Series (I work here)

Any of these couplers, and any others that meet the ISO 5675 specification, should be interchangeable with one another. Assuming you have the right size, of course. 1/2" is the most popular, and that is probably what you have on your tractor.

If you still don't know what you need, look for a manufacturer and a model number on either a male or female coupler that is on your existing equipment. We have a pretty good cross-reference available here in the office, and I can probably get you the right ones for your tractor.
