Yesterday I got all my firewood piled up for next year.

Tapped into a battery cable pigtail at the rear of the 2538 to hook up my elec fuel pump, to pump diesel from my holding tank directly into the fuel tank.

Took the backhoe off for the first time and learned how to hook up stuff to the 3 point hitch. Use the landscape rake to clean up some stuff from the trees we cleared a few weeks ago. Had a bit of a hiccup with the linkage for the hydraulics on the 3 point hitch...but got it worked out.

Have to dig the trench for some electric lines this week!

Would love to add the cruise to mine.

Cruise kit has 2 basic pieces. A electromagnet that bolts right on to the HST accelerator framing (pre-drilled with nuts welded on from factory) and the electric pigtail was hanging right there to plug it in. 2nd piece was the dash switch that looks just like the PTO switch, only this one is green. Mounts on the left side of the dash next to the light switch assembly. If you take your finger and push on the black vinyl around the light switch to the upper left, you'll feel a hole already cut in the dash to install the cruise switch.

Take out 3 bolts that hold the top ス of the dash shroud on, move it about 3" out to get your hands inside, pop out the light switch assembly, cut out the vinyl covering the hole in the dash. Pop in the switch, attach to the other pigtail that is right there, and reinstall shroud. You're done.

Once you activate the cruise, you even get an idiot light on the dash indicating it's active (just like your PTO).

Kit was $188, installed it myself in about 10-20 minutes (should have been 10). Kit does NOT come with directions. But even I figured it out.

Hope that helps.

I'm replacing the fender tips / tail lights on my 2540 with LED units housed in 4" PVC caps. That's because both of the fenders have vibrated off!

Our road caved in, fortunately not when we were crossing it. The old culvert had rusted away.

We dug out a ramp down to the old culvert from one side of the cave in.

We switched over to the grapple bucket to pluck out the old 18" x 24' culvert.

A year ago, I found an offer I couldn't refuse.
One 6-foot and one 9-foot, double wall, 30-inch, plastic culvert cut off.
We put them in the creek and joined them with a coupler.

Then filled it in with the dirt we had set aside from digging the ramp.

I repainted the side panels on the 2615. My dealer was out of Mahindra red. My local Coastal store sells equipment paint. IH Case red is a perfect match. What i did find at my dealer has me scratching my head - spray cans marked Kubota blue. My dealer doesn't even sell Kubotas! Next time in there, he gets the third degree. Why no Mahindra red, and what Kubota takes blue paint?
