the easiest was to just raise the seat. I used some rectangular steel stock to raise the stock seat initially. Maybe an hour in time tops.

I was mentioning this conversation to the CFO and she pre-emptively informed me we weren't buying any machine I would have to jerry-rig to operate.

Should be really easy to do. There's only 4 bolts holding the complete seat assembly to the tractor. I can't remember exactly, but I think they were 12mm and 1 1/4" long factory, I just got the same thread, only about 2 1/2" long.(sorry, can't remember the metric equivalents)(63 mm?). I would thick the dealer would have the materials needed on hand. It's not rare to raise seat height...... especially if you're going to buy the tractor from them.... I bet they would do it for free!

I was trying to find a pic of the 'elevated' seat / risers.... if I find it, I'll repost it.

Helped FIL remove 10 feet of snow from off of his septic tank standpipes. 88 years old and he is still shoveling off his roofs. A loader bucket beats a shovel any day.

Used the tractor to move fence posts and then some metal roofing.... at least it was a little seat time!
