What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

I needed fuel today, so stopped at TSC and picked up the high flow kit with the extension. I drilled the vent cap in, works really well. Still a struggle to heave the 5gal up to shoulder level, but at least now it is only for brief time. Only cost $13.99 at TSC.

Other than the barrels I have just under $150 invested in this setup.

Did some trenching yesterday for a few hours. Got most of the surface run off center away from the house.

I took out about a dozen cedar trees yesterday.

Can't really tell for this picture, but the BH off in the background there had leaned over like a wounded Praying Mantis due to all the rain and soft ground. Took me a while to get lined up to be able to rescue it, but I managed. Then I went to diggin' a bit to get myself tuned in again. It had been since last Fall and I was forgetting some of the motions. Took out a couple of tiny stumps and did a bit of drainage work.

Was using the flail mower to cut downd the thorn vines that keep trying to come back and found the loppers that one of my boys didn't put away ! Glad it didn't hurt the tractor any!

If it's any consolation, I found my neighbors broom buried in the snow while snow blowing their driveway for them on Saturday. The end result was about the same.

Well none of my 3 boys admit to leaving the loppers in the field i think i know what one did it but he is not coming forward lol! So i will just add it to the expense list for them all when we start putting up the hay each one will pay back $10 before they get paid for their help! Hopefully they learn to be more responsible it it comes out of their pocket lol!

I've found stuff with mowers. Sometimes it works out, like the time I drove clean over a tool without touching it and only noticed it on the next pass under the freshly cut grass.
