I dont know the reason for Kioti choosing to paint their tractors and having them look so similar to Kubota.
Marketing or what ever the reason I don't really care.
But I did pick a DK 35 over the 3010 and 3410 Kubota.
And after 67 hours of use I would do it again without hesitation !!

I tried I tried desperately to buy FC no one wanted to sell me i contacted 3 dealers no stock , I called First Choice myself was told they would see if they could sell me direct , never heard back from them , then i called sweettractor or something like that he had a box blade but after freight it would have been more than the woods gb72 i got a deal on it , paid 500 for the woods, i must say its a dandy of a box blade.. but i aint orange is yellow or canary i guess,
guys dont take my comments too serious we are all in this together i racked my brains before i bought the machine i have now, i was a bout a babys hair away from a deere , then looked more at kubota, let me tell you what the deciding factor was, it was the dealer , they went out of their way to help me, almost made me feel obligated, well almost, i stil had to pay for it..

Could it not be said then that Kubota was trying to play off of Allis Chalmers popularity then when they first came out with Kubota Orange? There are only so many colors to paint a tractor. I like orange but doubt there will ever be a Kubota in my driveway as I have no use for one. However, I did strongly consider a Agco till the dealer told me the price. It is sad when I can buy a JD, CASE-IH or NH considerably cheaper then a AGCO at least in my area.

let me tell you what the deciding factor was, it was the dealer 

KJN128 -- In the end, that's what it comes down to for many of us. But for the dealer's attitude I would be driving a JD4300 right now.

The last thing I wanted this thread to do was start a battle
of the betters.

I think it amusing that at least me wife is thinking of tractors while by the ocean, on a vacation no less.

What color they may be, orange, green, blue, red, yellow
matters not at this point.

As most have come to realize - "the dealer" will make the difference for me. And I have three that are close by.

I went to buy another John Deere, but the New Holland dealer was just much easier to work with. I wonder how many times this has happened and how much money TBNers have spent in similar cases.

The best advice you can give someone is to check out the dealer. IF he won't work with you before he has your money, how will he be after? This is the guy who will help fix anything that is wrong after the sale. IMHO it is better to pay a little more for the tractor at a good dealership, than to pay less at a bad one.
