Visited my local Kioti dealer today and was quoted $32,500 for the NX4510NST with FEL and backhoe. Looks like it is presently my first choice to buy later this year.
Maybe when I called the other dealer before we had a miscommunication.
Only one question remaining at this point. Next visit will ask the dealer how much to move up another 5 hp to the NX5010. If I can upgrade for about $1,500 just might.................one can never have to much HP.
If it were me, I wouldn't chose the NX5010 over the 4510 unless you had a specific need for the ~10% more HP. Just happen to have brochure sitting here so did a scan for you. Very little difference. If your $1500 is close guess on price difference, that's enough for a set of SSQA pallet forks, good box blade, toothbar for FEL bucket, & 50 hr service.
Thanks for the advice. Sounds like a solid plan. Some people are still trying to talk me into a shuttle shift but it would take a lot of convincing for me not to buy the HST.
I do way too much loader work and some tight areas to bush hog to mess with that. Powershift like an industrial machine or GST like the Grand L had (still have?) maybe would be just fine for me. But a typical shuttle - no thanks. Plus, my wife can just jump on it and do stuff with the tractor - that would have been a much steeper learning curve throwing shuttle shift into the mix.
I have a HST DK45 and a NH TN 55 with a hyd shuttle shift. The only advantage of the shuttle shift is less fuel burn for loader work and a more efficient transmission. The HST makes loader work much easier to control and without punishing a clutch.
