Snowblower What brand tractor is best?

You can get a Kioti DK40 through DK50 with 6' front mount blower and you have the option of HST for optimizing your speed to match blower load.
I think they are pretty good since I bought the tractor, but if you are comparing them to Kubota, remember they all are slightly heavier than even a MX5100 and have a few more things standard on them. The Kubota dealers will probably try to match prices with an L4400 but its abit smaller and lighter, which maybe fine for you, but I wanted more loader capacity and more weight.

Yet again, "best" is an undefined variable.
"Best" in which dimension ?

Front mount snow blowers may be FINE for avoiding the backing up while blowing issue, but then you don't have a loader bucket on for stacking.
So it depends largely on how much blowing you will actually do vs how much stacking.
It is usually a trade off between front blower with rear blade for clean up vs rear blower with front end loader for stacking vs BOTH, i.e. two or more tractors - and who of us don't have AT LEAST two ? (-:

IMO front mount blowers are not worth the money; for my situation, neck condition (good/fair), snow fall region, etc. YMMV and probably does.

I purchased my Massey, with the front mount blower, so my wife can clear the driveway when I'm on the road.

She has had her neck fused in two places and can't turn her head very far.

It's a little bit of a pain to drop the loader and hook up the blower, but it becomes much easier with practice.

As was mentioned, "best" really has to go on a point-by-point basis for the job at hand. For example, I like John Deere for the great green color, but for everything else, Kubota gets the nod.

If it were me, I would start with listing the various chores that I would be using the tractor for,both now and in the future, what amount I was willing to spend, check out all the major brands, get the best financing and the best deal, and hopefully you will make your dream come true. There are just too many variables involved in buying a tractor, to solely rely on someone else's recommendation. Yes, input from veteran tractor owners will give you somewhat of a better insight in regards to making a decision, but the final decision will be yours. Most of us are biased toward a certain brand because that is the brand that we like;etc. I, myself, love my Kubota just like other owners love the various other brands that they own. Good Luck and I sincerely wish you many hours of enjoyable Seat Time in the future.

I have a dk45 with a loader mounted snowblower with rear hydraulic powerpack. I also am too old to keep driving in reverse, so i opted for the front blower. I didn't want the frame mount system with hard piped pto due to the fact that i swap between blade and blower alot, and the time necessary to remove a frame mount front blower didn't interest me.

They have alot of real innovative ... but kinda expensive toys...er i mean attachments.Every catalog they send me has more amazing toys. Now i need to win the lotto
