(Gator has backup lights) Mine too! Maybe that is an option though, cause I bought the signal lights and stuff.

If you got the tail light option, you have back up lights.
Vermont does not license or allow UTVs on the road, so I saw no need for turn signals, hazard blinkers, etc. However, if I'm on my field or a trail, I want more light then back up lights normally provide.
If Kentucky allows your Gator on the road, then that option is worthwhile.

Now, although VT doesn't allow UTVs on the roads, I have every intention on using my Gator to plow our little cul-de-sac. I do intend to add the work lights and probably a SMV placard.
By the way, if you go on the roads, I suggest an SMV placard be mounted.

Before I bought my Gator 855D, I went to check out a 6x4 almost identical (including the cab, but no beacon on top, IIRC). I was very sorry I missed that machine (by a day or two).

Just wish it was the diesel version...
This one works well for what I use it for but diesel would be nice since I have fuel on hand.
The Kawasakis in these gas units seem to hold up well, hr meter broke w/ ~1800hr on it, still runs strong.

I have one of the first 4 x4 ATV's, a 1986 Honda TRX 350 quad, bought it new in 1986, and took it to Utah deer hunting two weeks later.
Got a nice 4x4 Mulie too!

We like our ATV's and enjoy riding them very much. There are not many places that they will not go. For sure if they have a winch on them. They are fun and go fast. I'm 60 and my wife is 59. Who day that says you can't have fun when you get old?

You two are still youngsters.

We have a old Honda Foreman and a Yamaha Kodiak. They are decent machines but they have gotten very little use since we bought the Kubota RTV900. The RTV gets daily use. My wife much prefers riding in that over the 4 wheelers. I enjoy getting out on the 4 wheelers but the RTV is so much more convenient for carrying stuff like chain saws, hay, etc.

That thing is huge.
One of the longest wheelbase UTV's I have seen.

Do yourself a big favor and get the full glass windshield first. The half-high plastic one gets hazed and eventually is crap. Either will suck dust in around the sides, but the full high glass one has an openable lower section, maybe 8 inches tall, which should give some airflow thru the cabin to help reduce the sucked in dust factor. I think the glass w/s is almost $800. Ouch.
