As we approach another project season, what's on everyone's list of things to get done? For me, I make an annual list that's in some order of importance.
I'm age 62 and retired so my list looks different from others in that my days of shoring up sagging buildings, clearing land or adding miles of fence are probably over.
But it might be nice to see what others have on their list since all projects are adventures.
Here's my list.

**Build workbenches for the barn. It has smooth floors (42x60)
and I am going to build four, 8' long nice benches on wheels. This allows me to clean behind them and roll around to work on my street rod or tractors. Drawers, etc.
**Move some 8' - 10' evergreens around in the yard. In the past I used my JD750TLB but didn't do a good job. Now having a tree "shovel" built for my JD5520 that should do a fine job. Photos later.
**Build 8'x14' shed for wife out of mostly scrounged lumber yet to be found.
**Grade driveway again with chain harrow.
**Paint 8' Woods landscape rake. Bought cheap because it sat out.
**Replace side door and frame to garage. Water rot. Add storm door too.
**Change oil, hyd oil, filters, etc in evrything. Things got ahead of me and need to catch up.
**Expand garden. Bigger & no weeds.
**Maybe puppies. I know but we can't stop.

The list goes on but you catch my drift.
Anyone else with projects in the wings?
Oh yeah, add drink beer when hot.

It should be interesting to see how everyones plans match up and what gets done by next winter. My list of things to do...

1. Finish the electrical, insulate, board, paint the inside of my new shop
2. Build lower deck to the existing deck in the backyard
3. Re-finish the backyard with sod, plus put in raised veggie gardens
4. Work on the entry area of the driveway and 'finish' with a proper garden (according to my wife's directions)
5. Get more tractor work then I did last year

I'm sure I could add more ... but I'll leave that up to momma-bear :D

2011- Barn/shop, dividing fences for pastures, start preping ground for hay production.
2012- New house.

And above all have fun doing it and keeping it under budget.

Now that I actually have a tractor to help:

1. Mow more of our pond area consistently
2. Build a picnic/campsite next to the pond
3. Build level, smooth trails and boardwalks for my wife to access the pond in her wheelchair.
4. Continue clearing dam of 1000's of small trees.

For me I'm going to try a cash garden again here soon - going to try brocolli & cauliflower if I can get it tilled before too long, they need to go in the ground by the first week in March if at all possible and I've already ordered a couple hundred plants from my local FFA. The cash garden is right at 1/2 acre. My house garden is 50'x100' and also needs tilling. Also want to finish cutting the grade down at my 100 yard mark on my little shooting range behind the house so we're not shooting uphill. Used to be an 18' rise in grade from the shooting tables out to the 100 yard target traps. Over the past 2 years I've got it cut down about 8' - 10'. Has been a pain being in the woods and having to dig stumps out with the FEL as I go but hope to finish it this year I hope. Been building a large berm behind the target traps with the spoils. The berm will be so large that I will have pretty much and endless supply of fill dirt whenever I need it on the rest of my property. Also got more clearing to do in the woods with the tractor - I push over small trees with the FEL and/or boxblade and rough grade it. My woods are looking much better after working on them for the past couple of years and got plenty more of it to do.

Funny, I'm a couple of years older and just retired last summer. I now have the time and my big project list is just beginning - not over! Now if I get them done is another matter.

- Start demolition of old block shed and rebuild for more storage
- Restore old pasture with wildflowers
- Clean edge of pond, build a "beach" for swimming
- Clear dam of 40 years of growth
- Finish all my 2010 projects

That last one is still a long list. And your last item is on my list too, along with more smoking of all kinds of meats.
