As we approach another project season, what's on everyone's list of things to get done? For me, I make an annual list that's in some order of importance.
I'm age 62 and retired so my list looks different from others in that my days of shoring up sagging buildings, clearing land or adding miles of fence are probably over.
But it might be nice to see what others have on their list since all projects are adventures.
Here's my list.
**Build workbenches for the barn. It has smooth floors (42x60)
and I am going to build four, 8' long nice benches on wheels. This allows me to clean behind them and roll around to work on my street rod or tractors. Drawers, etc.
**Move some 8' - 10' evergreens around in the yard. In the past I used my JD750TLB but didn't do a good job. Now having a tree "shovel" built for my JD5520 that should do a fine job. Photos later.
**Build 8'x14' shed for wife out of mostly scrounged lumber yet to be found.
**Grade driveway again with chain harrow.
**Paint 8' Woods landscape rake. Bought cheap because it sat out.
**Replace side door and frame to garage. Water rot. Add storm door too.
**Change oil, hyd oil, filters, etc in evrything. Things got ahead of me and need to catch up.
**Expand garden. Bigger & no weeds.
**Maybe puppies. I know but we can't stop.
The list goes on but you catch my drift.
Anyone else with projects in the wings?
Oh yeah, add drink beer when hot.
