I'm thankful for a roof over my head, a warm meal, a great 9 year old son, and wonderful wife.

Walked down to the pond this morning and listened to the birds for awhile. I'm thankfull for everything we have, but I'm especially thankfull to anyone protecting our country from those who would do us harm.

Has anyone sent care packages to Iraq?

The list is long.

But as I sit here in the office with the smells and sounds of my wife preparing the Thanksgiving dinner all about life just feels good.

It looks like the kids are all happy and doing well. That's probably the best blessing of all. After family I think I'd have to be most thankful for that little get up one hears in the voice when one calls a friend. It is amazing how a "hi Harvey" can sound like a welcome home party feels sometimes.

I have a couple of buds that just perk up when they hear my voice. I just hope they hear the same hug in mine. It'd only be right.

And you know, I feel good about fifty five. I wouldn't want to go back because it was hard or any of that. I wouldn't want to go back because where I'm at is so, well, comfortable.

Life is good. And TBN is part of my life.

Being able to stay on this side of the grass comes first. I guess family, warm home, food and all the rest fight over second place.

Had a stoke about three years ago... Right hand is weak...right leg is gimpy...

So, I guess the fact that I'm still breathing is the top of the list.
