I am wondering what are some shade options for a BX tractor in the dog heat of summer. What are owners using?? The orange hard canopy for around $500.00 looks nice but is it a pain to be under the rest of the year?? Love to hear peoples input/opinion????

I've tried and used several different ones. I like my eyes shaded and my neck and arms so hat doesn't do a full job.
I've got one that I built a cover using CPVC pipe with stainless steel u clamps with some canvas window shade that I bought at a yard sale covering the pipe. Really looks bad now that I've hit tree limbs a stuff with it over the past 3 or so years. I just give it a hit with my hand to get it to realign but will probably redo it in another year or two.
I've also bit the price bullett on the one I use at home and bought the fiberglas one from Barlows that's colored Kubota Orange.
Some times I fight the tide and other times my resistance dies and I just give up and go with the crowd. Getting older so I pick my battles a bit more selective and fight fewer of them.:drink: Not really a beer drinker but seems to express my feeling pretty clear.
