Reading the thread about the 50's era cars made me really, really want one, my choice would be the 1957 Chrysler 300-C convertible.

Studebaker Hawk was so far ahead of it's time. Great lines and good engineering.

Neighbor had one they cut the top off of and used it like a ATV around their farm when it got old.:laughing:

Yup, the Chevys were simple to work on. A few wrenches, tach & dwell, timing light, and you could tune one up to run like a bat out of ..., and the tuneup would last for at least 3 or 4 days.:thumbsup:

Yep... I owned a '62 327-340, but always "lusted after" the '57...

Definitely the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.:thumbsup: My Dad bought one new. It was 2-tone-tan and white. I remember it quite vividly.
