We like sling. $27 with kids package so we have disney.
Yall dudes with 50mbps that's nuts. I wish we had that.

So the best thing we ever did was kick the tv right out of the house. It started years ago when I decided that the kids needed to learn other forms of entertainment. We would shut the tv off for the summer. Usually for 7-8 months of the year. The first thing we noticed was about 30% less fighting amongst our 3 boys. So what kind of crap are those idiot liberal programmers feeding my kids so that they feel they have to fight more when they have watched tv?

Next deciding factor was that the kids were watching The Simpsons behind our backs as we both detest that show. That show is nothing but a disrespectful bunch of jerks! One day the tv broke down. I tried to fix it but with my limited knowledge.... The next question was why am I trying to fix this if I don't care about the tv. Ok boys of you want to watch tv you need to pay for the repairs. It never happened and eventually the tv went to the dump. We have never replaced it and don't miss it. If there's a show that I really feel I need to watch I can look it up on the internet. That happens maybe once every 5 years.

End of rant. Interesting note is that years later I got a thanks from one of my adult sons. "We learned to do things differently than most kids Dad!"

No matter how you get your TV it's a lack of programming that's frustrating. Where's all the talent in this country, can't create an entertaining show.

It was more than that why we decided to bail on sat TV. It was, equally, being forced by a subscription package to pay for channels we never watched and found repulsive. No thanks.

Dropped Direct about a year ago, I got fed up paying for sickining trash I wouldn't watch and sure as **** don't believe in? I now have ota and prime. Life is good.

SlingTV with an AirTV player and an antenna for local channels. The AirTV player lists the locals right in the guide with the Sling channels so no switching inputs or anything like that. Antenna picks up 15 local channels which is more than I thought would be around.

We left TWC over a year ago. Got Direct TV NOW and pay a lot less. Have a better line up of channels we actually like. We don't watch every channel available and have a limited number of 'favorites' but overall it's good.

Would watch RFDTV more if there weren't so many ads for AARP on it.

We have never had cable or satellite television, always OTA. We did purchase a channel master DVR a couple years ago. Now we can record shows we want and watch them when we want. Last night, I watched several episodes of Lethal Weapon, fast forwarding through commercials. We watch Netflix some also along with the free VuDu and Amazon Prime.
