during a trip out west and south, came down highway 1 and caught
this storm off shore, made for some great pics...

Nice pictures, but when that last storm came ashore, the news I've read indicates it wasn't a lot of fun.

those shots were from last friday, th 13th, before this last front
came thru with the extreme rain and snow.
those folks needed moisture badly, but it all seems
to come at once causing even more problems.

Back in 1997 while onboard the USS Carl Vinson, we did a homeport change from NAS Alamada Ca to Bremerton Wa. Hit a big storm off the coast of Or, we hauled cars and trucks on the flight deck, my truck has a full size cabover camper on it... wind was so bad that the OOD ordered me to put extra tiedown chains on it! The thought of trying to tell my insurance agent that the truck/camper were at the bottom of the Pacific ocean 100 miles off the coast of Or was scarey.
