Went to my first concert in 5 years (image heavy)

The last time I got to go to a concert was ozzfest in 2003. Yesterday I got to spend my day at the first annual rockstar energy mayhem music festival. It was all hard metal music which is what I'm in to. Bands included 5 finger death punch, black tide, machinehead, mastodon, disturbed, and the headliner slipknot. Was a sick concert, here are some pics of me and my boys...

From left to right there's Eric (part time cemetery employee and lead guitar for Skarmasutra a local band about to break out), me in back, Heather (Rob's main squeeze), and Rob Arista (past full time cemetery employee, Front man, songwriter, and guitarist for Skarmasutra). Robs nickname is sasquatch for obvious reasons, the guy is huge.

This is Danny, my current star employee.

First 2 year old I ever saw headbanging. He was having a blast and I was pleased to see dad protected his hearing.

In getting this picture we captured a member of the 'boobie brigade'. We were happy every time they went past

It was a long needed day out, odd that I spent it with the guys I work with, but we all needed to blow off some steam.

Hmmm, sounds like fun. I don't get to many festivals lately and I have not seen a serious metal band since the Beast on the Road tour way back in the day.

Indeed sir you are correct, at this time they weren't on display. But she had other 'assets' that the guy behind her was appreciating.

Been years since a festival Bill Graham used to do "Day on the Green" at Oakland Colesium. Went once, and saw Journey, Eddie Money, Night Ranger, Bryan Adams. That was a good day out. Last was to Grass Valley some years back for a five day long Bluegrass Festival. Tons of fun. Big spectrum of music too; going from mild rock to back woods stuff.

I hear ya. I have so many projects my FJ40 is getting neglected. Bought some property, built a new house and a garage shop.
