Yes, It's possible, depends on the aquifer and the well rate. It is called drawdown.

Well yes, But as you are in Fl I would say it would be rare unless you are very shallow. I would guess it would be more likely in the Crestview Tallahassiee area but that is a pure guess.

It was the first thing that came to mind when I got home andthe tank was empty and the pump was running. Long story short, seems there was a live pipe from my well running in the direction of my neighbors to the east. Utility company hit it while trenching in a service for the new neighbors to the south.
