I did not get the air ride one, but it is very nice. I had to modify it a bit to fit. Was not that hard.

hello all, just stumbled on this conversation whilst trying to find information on front fender for a bx.
being a proud owner of a uk bx 231, i feel i can answer a few of you questions, mb bx was built 2021 and the seat is defiantly on springs. the side lights are very good, however they are a bit prone to breakage, i have gone through several lenses.
as a side point, last year the headlights were subject to a recall, as during covid they left the factory with the incorrect type. the gas strut on the rops does help stop it falling, i don`t put the bar up often, as i find it hits trees.
did anyone find any front fenders for the bx? i cornered a kubota rep last year at a show, but no joy. there was a set available but only in Europe. the part number is W26TS01045

There's a guy named Paul Short in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, Canada. He sells small Kubota mods of his own manufacture and is a genius and perfectionist at what he does. He's also a very nice guy.
HOME | SpecialtyRepairsMods. Kubota Tractor Mods Accessories, Attachments.

I have no idea how to buy stuff there and get it here but I'll bet he does. I think it's easy for ag parts if you know what you're doing. He may or may not have fenders but I'll bet he knows all about adding them and what it entails.

He used to post on TBN years ago but I don't think he has in a while. He also had or still has a Youtube site that he showcases his accessories.

X2 on Specialty Repairs, but I don't think he does fenders. I know the Larger Kubota models have optional fenders in Canada (only) last I checked for my L60 series.
Anyway, Paul Short definitely ships to the US. I purchased a 3rd function hydraulic hose protection plate and rear light guards a few years ago.... Quality stuff.

I've tried to put fenders on a variety of tractors over the decades and slowly realized that it cannot be done unless you have factory brackets and factory fenders. All other efforts and approaches fell short and looked like a high school kid did the work in shop class.

There is just nowhere to bolt a bracket to and no fender specifically made for a tractor application. Plus, unless bracket are cast like the OEM stuff, they can't withstand the vibration and abuse.

Off on a side track but ... you said "and looked like a high school kid did the work in shop class." Hey sixdogs, what you talkin bout !? I might resemble those remarks...

I built a hay wagon when I was in 9th grade shop. Tied up the shop floor for months. Took a whole semester. It was made using two junk yard '48 Ford front axles, one for steering and one welded solid to not turn for the rear. The 3" pipe tongue got bent under heavy use and too sharp a turns. The two 16 foot oak 3x10 frame pieces were solid but I had not included a way for the frame to ride the up and down on uneven ruts, flex over obstacles, etc. so one wheel lifted off the ground fairly often. The larger 4" pipe welded between axles had no give to it either. The deck was solid oak unplaned and about 1.25 inch thick & hard as a rock. Never was able to pound a nail through it without predrilling the hole. I hauled 120 square bales of hay on it many times. Sold it after I was about 70 some years old 10 or 12 years ago. Got over 50 years use out of it. Sad to see it go but it was still quite functional. Pulled it in the early years with a 1954 MH Pacer tractor with the governor defeated to let the motor rev higher for me. Put out enough power to tow 120 bales on that wagon up a steep hill, arriving at the top with the clutch smoking. Gawd knows what I would have done if it did not make it up the hill. Jumped I guess. The old mechanical brakes were essentially worthless and no way I could have held it against that hill.

I am leaning on that Pacer in the avatar to your far upper left.
