Biught this from a bud of mine for 600 bucks, brand new. The picture is almost identical to mine, except my motor is yellow with a black tank. If the motor is not honda made it is a very close copy. The pump looks all cast iron, stays fairly cool, and a v twin configueation. Even has an oil sight glass. I believe it is also american made and put together at their south caralina plant, but i could be wrong. So does it look like i got a good deal?? Any opinions welcome!

I'd be interested to see if you can find a country of orgin on the motor or the pump. China makes some Honda clones. If it was a Honda, I would think they would leave the Honda name on the motor. It would be a selling feature.

i got to looking it over real good and found the motor is china made not sure of the pump.
