Welding a Disc Blade.

you'd be shocked to learn how many guys with too little experience will weld up a trailer and take it out on the highway fully loaded. I wonder what the charges should be when the trailer dumps its contents all over the highway.
Reckless endangerment?
Willful manslaughter?
Negligent homicide?
That's a good case of "I don't know who did that".

I've also welded a short piece of pipe on one and use it to trim horse hooves.

Perfect for cooking. Got a few new ones from the auction, much nicer to work with. Fabulous bacon and hash browns, along with fresh fish right out of the lake.

What about grinding a small notch in the inner and outer discs, then using small nuts and bolts with a washer each side. Forget welding....

Why would a guy do that when he can stick it on with 7018,,, NOT 6010 or 11 for higher ,, quite hi in this case carbon steels.

E6010 is used for penetration, E7018 for cap passes. It's not going to the Moon. Weld 1/2" at a time on alternating sides. Drill ends of any cracks. Pro's would buy a new disc blade or 2.
