I, too, prefer the back of the bucket. You can lift more, and there is no
risk of bending the top lip.

Here is a photo of a chain slot I recently installed on the back of a new
CK20. The bkt is about the same as the CK25/30. You DO need a
reinforcement plate, however. I used a 1/4" plate, about 6x6.

ok i have decided to weld a round anchor tie down to each side of my bucket.
Give me a week and i will post how its working for me
