I hope I am putting this in the right forum, but I was wondering if anyone and can help me Identify this welder/generator. I am mainly looking to use this welder lightly but would like this to be a good project threw the winter. Thanks in advance

Is this an AC/ DC? Linclon make some AC only welders that were not worth much except for flat welding.

Well that is what I am trying to find out about this welder if it is worth getting off of CL. The seller should be getting me the info about it but i wanted real options about the capabilities of the welder.

I'd suggest posting the pictures on a site called Welding Web. It's an excellent welding forum. There's a guy that frequents the site that specializes in refurbishing old machines, espcially Lincolns. For old Lincolns, he can generally tell you what to check on the machine, where to get parts, estimated value, etc.
