Rch..... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif This particular application is not something that is so stressed that you need to lay awake nights listening for it to drop off. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif It will doubtlessly last three lifetimes just the way it is. I'm sure that Jim was putting up the caution flag mainly for FUTURE higher stress welding situations. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I should have built one of these for my Miller a LONG time ago. One thing I like about your welder is that the cable comes out at a DOWN ANGLE which reduces the stress at the joint. I've had to replace mine once since 1977 because it "hangs" too straight out and stresses the cable jacket. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
