I've found myself in need of a bit more aggressive approach for ground engagement with the bucket of my FEL,
I have priced a Tooth bar Verses having teeth welded directly onto the bucket,....... this welding person advised me that welding teeth on is the best, he then said that the bars are cheap and would bend..... so I'm bringing this question to the Pro's :thumbsup:

here is a better description of my tractor and my needs
Yanmar 1700 2-wd 4 ft Bucket, Ga. red clay extra front weight is critical as I don't need anymore than necessary, However a tooth bar could provide more strength to the cutting edge, the cost to have teeth welded on is about equal to a tooth-bar and would be lighter weight but will not provide any additional strength,
