Wel-Bilt pump - what kind of pump is this?

I have a friend who lost her dad and is going through is barn stuff and sent me these pictures. It is a pump driven by a 110 volt electric motor, would seem to be some sort of well pump? I am posting pics of the pump and of the label on the pump housing hoping that someone could identify it (what is it) and maybe have some idea of what it is worth in an estate or garage sale?

Could be a trash pump. No idea of worth.

It appears to be a pump for transfering liquids. At .04 horse power I do not believe it to be a trash pump. Most likely used to move water or weed sprayer products. Bottom hook up would be a solid piece of hose in order to not collapse under suction. Top is the discharge hose and it would be flat cloth or flat type of plastic hose. Good for pulling water out of ponds,stock tanks,and other shallow pumping operations. should be worth at least 100.00, more if you have the suction and outlet hoses. Call local farm supply and ask what a 110 volt transfer pump cost. Should have a good gallons per minute rating because of its size.
