Weight of L3901

I know my Kioti is over 6600 lbs with my ballast on the back and no backhoe. BUT my tractor while in the same horsepower class has a heavier overall frame. My tractor outweighs a 3901 by at least 1200 lbs bare. My tires are larger and therefore when filled weigh more, my loader weighs more too. The lift capacity on my 3 point is almost twice as much. So horsepower range is not really a good way to compare tractors. Overall frame size and weight is a far better way.

Just bought a Kubota in July. The tractor, loader and even bucket weights are in the manuals. Perhaps they do this for all models. It looks like just draining the tires gets the total below 5,000 pounds.

OP, if you are thinking about buying a new trailer, you may want to start looking now. I ordered a new Sure Trac 18' 10k lb utility trailer for double duty with moving my LX3310 TLB and general things around the house. Ordered in early August, projected delivery date mid December. Quality trailers are in short supply. good luck.

I was able to find all the part weights online for my MX5400 (no cab) and attachments, but had to dig for some. You definitely need to factor in the attachments, including the loader and bucket.

MX5400 Tractor: 3734 lbs
Loaded tires: Say +600lbs/tire for easy math (so +1200 lbs), but you should consult rimguard or what have you and check the values for your tire type.
LA1065 Loader: 1322 lbs
L2296 Bucket: 397 lbs
RCF2072 Cutter: 745 lbs
RB3784 rear blade is 630 lbs.

So for me thats ~3.5+ tons (7000+ lbs) depending on what you're attaching, then factor in 2000+ lbs for the trailer. I definitely can't tow this safely with my 9000lb rated truck.
Not sure how far a 3901 is from these specs, it's just for your consideration of all the pieces you want to factor in.
