Weight of BX24D with FEL and Backhoe (also BX23, BX25)

I found some of this on orangetractor forum. Some is edits from TBN members.

1520 - Tractor
628 - BH Backhoe
22 - 8 inch BH bucket
375 - FEL Loader
132 - FEL bucket
_________________
2677 lbs TOTAL weight

This info was surprisingly difficult to find in all the specs sites I looked at, and even TBN. All over the internet, tractordata, Kubota, the BX23, 24, 25 weight is listed as bare tractor weight of 1542 lbs. While the bare tractor weight is interesting, it's an almost useless number when a BX23, 24, 25 is a TLB (Tractor-Loader-Backhoe)

Can someone confirm this? I will edit it so the top post has correct info. We don't want OrangeTractor to have better info than TBN:thumbsup: but of course there its down on the 2nd page after a bunch of trailer discussion.

Here's what I found in the Owner's Manual for the BX24 (differences in red):

1520 - Tractor
22 - 8" BH bucket
29 - 12" BH bucket
375 - FEL Loader
132 - FEL bucket

But I couldn't find the weight of the backhoe listed.

Thx for checking the manual. I put in your edits (1520 and 22), and then went to change the total which was "2677", and found that the new total (with your numbers) came to 2677 again. Anyway nobody cares about a few .lbs of diesel but 1542 vs 2677 is significant. I saw on one forum post a guy is contacting a shipping company and using the 1542 number, well I guess that works for him but not the trucker.

Here's what my BX23 Operator's Manual says in the Specifications section:

Tractor (BX23): 1,520 pounds
Loader (LA 210-1): 430 pounds
Loader Bucket (LA 210-1): 132 pounds

But it does not give the weight of the BT600 Backhoe. TractorData.com lists the BT600 weight as 617 pounds. If that's correct, the total weight would be 2,699 pounds.

So, at 2,699 for the BX23 vs. 2,677 for the BX24, I guess that means my BX23 is better than your BX24.

I just found an old Kubota brochure on the BX23. It does list the BT600 backhoe weight as 617 pounds. It doesn't list a separate weight for the backhoe bucket, so I don't know if the bucket weight is included in that or not.

So the BX23 should be 2,699 pounds.
