Weight of 1070

Does anyone have a manual or web page that shows the weight of a model 1070 tractor?

I can't remember what my 990 weighs exactly but it's a little over 3,000 lbs. Should be close for the 1070.

That's the bare tractor without any implements, right...

I found a weight of 2980. Bare tractor. That may have been for 2WD though.

You are correct, 2980 for a 2wd with R1 tires and 3265 lbs. for the MFWD with R1's. This is from a 1994 JD brochure.

My 1050 weighs in at 3000lbs for 2wd and no weights or attachments. I've filled tires and a loader so I'm guessing 4.500lbs or so.

Well, you get a good ball park answer now. If I remember I'll check the sales brochure from '92. I don't have it handy at the time. 3,000 is without implements for the 990.

How many hours on your machine and what year is it? We have about 670 on the 92 970. Why is your factory looking seat yellow?
