My problem here is a reverse of yours. Our bermuda (not a hybrid, but common bermuda) is a weed, and we would love to be able to kill it and leave the St Augustine/Centipede. There are areas around some of the beds and in the garden where the bermuda is a big problem; once it's started it's difficult to remove without deep tilling and removing the roots manually. Roundup seems to be temporary, as it has returned in the garden after several sprayings, although not as bad.
