Weed control on a bermuda lawn

I've got a 2 year old lawn, sodded with Tif Bermuda.
I seem to be having a real problem controlling crabgrass that just appears at random.
Any suggestions for something which would kill the crabgrass but not the Bermuda.
Also anything which might be applied as a suppressive, pre-emergent agent to prevent the stuff from even starting?
I've got True Green Chemlawn supposedly doing their thing, but frankly am about to terminate our contract.

My understanding is that once the crabgrass is up, its tough and far more costly to control. Check products like Monterey Weed Hoe. They are designed to help control weeds besides just broadleaf after they emerge. You need to get the crabgrass pre-emergent on well before the crabgrass seeds germinate. That varies in locations, but I would think in a place like Texas, Dec. to January would be typical times to apply it.

How do you like the Tif bermuda? Do you mow with a reel or rotary mower?

I love the Tif. It's really soft underfoot, and it looks like a pool table when cut. I use a regular rotary mower. It's a cub cadet 1046.
chemlawn says they apply pre emergent control, but I find it hard to believe looking at what's popping up now.

Seems to me like you need something with MSMA in it. It is usuallly labeled "crabgrass killer", but will kill dallis grass and johnson grass too. without hurting bermuda.

Alan L said it.... MSMA works wonders on many types of grasses without hurting Bermuda.
HD, Lowes, Wally World and several other places carry it.
