Ontario, Canada Province Wide (I think) Freezing rain warning. Major, they say. It's started here already and branches already coming off trees. Naturallty it's accompanied by wind.

Last night, it rained harder and longer than I can ever remember.

Central Michigan weather currently SUCKS. We had 2 1/2” of rain last night and currently freezing rain, sleet, and 20 MPH wind. Projected weather for the rest of the day and evening, accumulating snow. Highs tomorrow forecasted to be in the low 20s with high wind. Local news media begging people to stay put. Stepped out a while ago to check on the shop heat and feed the barn cats.
Gonna be a quiet night with an adult beverage or two in front of the fireplace.

Same here in Northern NY;about an inch of rain so far and temps in the high 40's ,but dropping.Propped up my 1/2 acre bird net as best I could;it doesn't like freezing rain.Have about 150 pheasant out there.It has come down before;not any fun at all.Worried about all the ASH trees I have;some are weak because Emerald Ash borer.Treated 7 close to the house at $100 ea.last spring.

My sister gave me some new shoe ice cleats she found in the apartment complex laundry room. I can't remember what I did with them. I have a feeling they might come in usefull.

So far it hasn't been bad on the south side of Lake Ontario. We were in the mid 60's at noon and still above 50 with some rain. The icy stuff is supposed to stay just north of us but the wind is forecast to be nasty for several hours tomorrow morning.
