Bob, I grew up in Danville, IL - dad and sister still live there and have a bunch of family in Bismark and on ShakeRag. Welcome to TBN.
I use a product called Honda spray cleaner and polisher. You apply it dry and rub it in. No need for wax. Leaves a beautiful shine and protected surface snf cleans the tractor at the same time. Follow that up with Boeshield T9 on any potential rust prone surfaces - I spray it on and let it dry. It tacks up. Works great. Mine is a working tractor too and keeping it in good shape means it will be working long into its life without as many part replacements.
Boeshild T9 and Rust off are great products for other tools as well!!
