Friend has a Agco that when the company came out to service they left the fill off his hydraulic port, it rained for several days now the water in the line actually has frozen.

Does anyone know a way to drain and fully bleed the water from the system?

Any help will be appreciated. The service company came out and drained it but still has water in the system

Unfortunately it will require repeated filling and flushing to remove the water. Some companies make water absorbing filter elements but these are expensive and only remove small amounts of water.

Other option if you have lots of time is to drainn the old oil, let it sit for a few days and if cold enough the water will freeze, then pump the oil off the top of the water/ ice and reuse. This will remove most of the water but rarely all of it.

I'd make it the problem of the service company that caused the issue. It sounds like professional negliance there to me.

EXACTLY, it's their problem and the loss in fluid that there WILL be!

I'd EXPECT them to put the tractor in a warm place, and flush the system! At NO cost to me!
