I have a JD790 and have gotten several nails in the front tires. Plugs don't have a good success rate. I am thinking of installing tubes and filling with water. The tires are Tital Trac Loader R4 25X8.50-14. Any thoughts? John

The water won't help getting stuck with more nails. Just needing weight?
I just took delivery on two Titan tires that size. Wore the tread off and never had an air issue. Guess I was lucky.

Get some tire seal. And not that slime. JD makes some, don't really care for it. It is a little slimy. (I also saw several dealers online trying to dump it ) I use some stuff from Schaeffer's, works good and has several other uses, like trailer tires, camper tires, 4 wheelers, etc. Pretty much anything that isn't balanced. You can also add enough for balance if desired. Washes out with water unlike slime.

you could foam them.. otherwise, if ina nail / thorn area.. I sure would not tube them.. i'd plug them, then add slime or similar..
