Oil & Fuel Was reading a thread about greasing the zerk fittings so I pulled out the grease gun

And I assume you use "thin wall sockets"?

I was suggesting that sometimes 12pt sockets seem to have a thinner wall than 6pt sockets... Do your fittings really have a 10mm hex on them? That would be quite a bit larger than the norm...

LOL, I have a couple of sockets that met my grinder an got converted to "thin wall" status. (they were not my Snap On category ones but rather the Harbor Frt category)

You do see shoulders on the fittings? Not the round press in ones are they?
