Did you see the ad on the side of the truck? Off Road Ice and Lake Recovery! Heck, someone makes at living at it and specializes in that type of recovery.

Imagine when the TC fell through the ice. Wonder if the operator had trouble getting out.

Even if water didn't get into the motor, I know the "book" says the change out for the main wiring harness alone is 20 hours in labor. Add that to the possibly fried CPU's (console & dash) and that will be one huge bill! I'd be curious to know if it was "totaled" by the insurance adjuster, assuming he had insurance.
