Which hydraulics, for the transmission or for rear remotes or FEL?

Higgy; I asked the dealer why wouldn't they want to fix the problems re customer relations and the possibility of loss of sales due to word of mouth. Also he openly admitted all the problems plus a bunch more saying New Holland will only approve repairs on a one on one basis, no recalls or advertised notification of known defects. I told him when the hydro sticks and something terrible happens guess who will get the first subpoena for court!! Sometimes it would make more sense to repair or replace vs standing in the court room. Class action sounds like a viable alternative. I am going to call NH to see what their response is. Thanks for the assistance.

Chris; The bucket rams leak down and the 3 point . The hyrdo sticks ( pedal stays in the position you place it when using the loader, the drive wheels will keep spinning, and to disengage you must press the reverse pedal or hit the brakes. The loader main rams will hold. I haven't tried it with a full bucket for any period of time. After 15 minutes the 3 point with a box scraper will be near the ground.

Pine Ridge,

Yeah, doing great, thanks! How bout you? Havn't been on the board much this summer... Too much seat time I guess! :) Still loving my big blue machine!

Kris I got to thinking a week ago that you had dropped off the face of TBN and I hoped that all was well with you. Glad you are still enjoying that big blue rig.

Everything is peaceful here and we are already gearing up for holiday shoppers. I have been patiently waiting for a container of merchandise to get through NY customs. It has been weeks in customs hold. Sometimes I think that drug dealers get their merchandise through customs quicker than I do. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Joe, you can do a search using "hydro pedal" in the NH Owning/Operating forums (1 year or all posts) and get a wealth of information ranging from how to lubricate that pedal mechanism to adjusting or increasing the return spring size.

I've also found that the problem is far more prevalent when your engine rpm is below 2,000 and you put the tractor under a heavy load.

I've maintained a list of the Class III Boomer problems that I've encountered over the past three years, and the definitive threads that described the fix/repair for the problem.

For #6. Sticky/sluggish hydro pedals
HST Just Won't Stop, Quit, Woah! Spencer200's post gives the part numbers on this page of the thread for a new spring and plate for the Class II and Class III Boomers.

Unfortunately, I don't think this is a complete fix, it just makes the problem less evident. I think the problem is inherent to the NH HST, and the spring replacement will prevent some, but not all of the "sticky" pedal problem.
