Warnings that make you wonder

Guys, I went with my brother today to look at a vacant house that was built in 1898...the house is lousy with mold, lead paint, and asbestos (see attachments). I am surprised the realtors showing the house did not make the people who wanted to look at it sign a form stating:

"If you get sick or die from a result of viewing this house today, you agree not to hold our company or the owners of the premises responsible because you have been told the house contains toxic substances..." :laughing:

On I-95 on the way to Philadelphia, with cars going 60 -65 mph, with 3 lanes each way, there's a little sign on the side of the road that says " Caution, weave area". Now, just exactly what are you supposed to do differently when you see that sign, and what is a weave area anyway ? I think the net effect is to take peoples' eyes off of the road and mentally distract them long enough to cause an accident.

Just about everything you buy today has the warning this product contains material that may cause cancer in the state of California.

Can you imagine GM making THAT commercial today? No Way.

The MPG was pretty danged good and while they called that a small car back then today it would be a large or medium sized car.

I remember the Citation. They were ugly then and they are still ugly.

THAT is the best laugh I have had on TBN in months...I think the last time I used our little Weber charcoal grill was on a camping trip back in 1993...still have the 20 lb. bag of charcoal mostly unused...I bet it doesn't have that warning on it.

Sadly, not funny. Every time there is a cold snap in FL, people die from using charcoal to keep warm- IN THEIR HOME!
