Are you sure about that, as I have not heard of a valve that has constant regen.

I could be wrong, people are always doing stupid things.

I would definitely like to know.

Anyone else using a NH tractor can you verify about the regen.

We have input from two New Holland owners, One person with an early Kubota valve with like characteristics and a New Holland certified technician with nearly 20 years experience largely based on 20 series CUT's with these exact Zexel and Kayaba control valves. At what point do you defer to a broader body of knowledge? Would one more owner change your mind? Five? Ten? At what point do we no longer care?

The fact is, as many times as necessary until I fully understand.

No one said it positively was a 3 way valve.

If he would have done the test like I ask, we would have the answer.

His owners manual should have made it clear.

A 3 way loader valve is not that popular, and if you don't want the functionally of a 3 way valve, then simply change it out. About $240.

2 SPOOL COMPACT 10 GPM JOYSTICK CONTROL VALVE

It is not very hard to find and install the valve that will do the job he wants to do.

Don't even try being a smart a**.

Just put me on your ignore list, and if I am already on it, then double star it.

Thanks for the tip and that's what I have been doing. Took some getting used to but it's functional. The biggest issue is not having float in this configuration. I hit a dip where our private road meets the county road and the next thing I knew the front end of the tractor came off the ground wheels a spinnin lol!

Yup, forget about the loss of float function.. Other concern that I am sure you have encountered is the blower will drop quickly now.

Have you did the test like I said to verify whether you have full regen and nothing else when using the bucket curl down.

I would definitely like to know.

Sorry JJ I have not. Its a bit of a project to remove the snow blower to put the loader back on. Its gonna have to wait till a little nicer weather.

If I barley push the stick I can let it down nice and slow.

I wish it was that easy...It would be a major re-plumbing job to install a new valve, thats why I was hoping to just swap out the spool in the KAYABA valve. New Holland said they can get it to the tune of $400 bucks. That seems a bit much for just the spool but then again I've been wrong so many times before whats one more time...

Is the $400 just the spool or a complete replacement valve? My gut hunch is that this would be a complete replacement valve but I have also been wrong so many times....

I haven't checked the pricing recently, but the last time I looked at the replacement spool, it was just the spool complete with seals & centering spring, etc. and was well over $300. Not a complete two spool valve assembly.

Nothing Ford about any of this. Ford left the building about 20 years ago. Even then, Shibaura built the tractor & outsourced the valve.
