Looks odd with the used bucket, but I really like my Markham tooth-bar. The new buckets look better made tho..
The 50 incher I looked at was made out of plate opposed to the rolled steel of my current bucket.

What's the deal with JD painting the balls on the 3PH, had a heck of time getting mine to move freely.

Had to beat mine with a hitch pin to loosen it up.

Skip, Nice tractor. Does high range have more power with the bigger engine? I bet the 3pt arms work alot better also. JC

According to the JD web site a 53" bucket is $29 more than the 49" and a 61" is $58 more than the 49". I followed the advice of the guys on this site and called my dealer and left a message to put a 61" bucket on. I think they would say the same for you on the 2520. It takes off better in high. I can't say much about the 3 pt and bucket yet.
I will be able to use it a little more the next couple of days.
