Dan, a chain locking a gate is not a problem. Easy to cut. Just have a few extra links so everyone is happy. As long as you don't pretend your gate key fob has a mute button, you should be good to go :laughing:. BTW, next time your in Burlington talking with Joe, ask about the picture on his door...

Great. Now I have to go find out how much an opticom is going to cost if we ever put up a real gate operator.

Yep, the gain is secured with transport chain and a lock. Might have a problem with hand bolt cutter on the chain. The lock? Not a problem.

And I have spare locks ready to go.

I buy the locks that have four wheels for a combination and you get to pick the combination. If we ever had to call 911 and the gate is closed we can tell dispatch the combination. Or they can cut the lock. :thumbsup::laughing:

What does Joe have on his door? :laughing: I do need to pay a visit for hoses and oil.

The descriminator is about $2100 and I think the detectors are around $300 each. $600 for the card rack and power supply will put you around $3k for the system plus installation.:confused2:
