Tractor
1963 ford 4000
Hi All.

I have a 1963 Ford 4000 tractor with I think a Wagner WF3 loader. It has a leak in the front center cylinder. I'm looking for help in how to properly size the right replacement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Your best bet would be to take the cylinder to a hydraulic shop if you have one locally. Or, just accurately measure the bore, rod, and bring the old packings with you to the hydraulic shop. It'll be much less money to just repack the cylinder than to replace it altogether, unless the rod is heavily pitted or bent, etc...
