Just got off the phone and the tractor is to be delivered tomorrow before 9am.

I will be talking my before pictures in the morning and hopefully starting to post some after photos as sson as Sunday as I reclaim some land.

Wouldn't you know it I have to go to a BBQ tomorrow afternoon and my wife is already warning me about my attendance /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif She knew I would try and scam some reason not to attend and get some new tractor time in.

What type of illness would render one unable to attend a BBQ but able to tractor? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Why, TRACTORITIS , of course! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Symptoms = lack of appetite, inability to sleep, total disregard for creature comforts, appearing to be in a dazed and/or confused state of mind, constant mumbling of words such as BLUE , GREEN , ORANGE

Only Known Cure = SEAT TIME !! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

F350Lawman:

Well, it's about time I was beginning to worry about ya!!. What more could ya ask for and on a Saturday to boot.

Humm I'm thinking some kind of a throat problem you know can't down the BBQ and I sure don't want to spread this to others but would you please bring me a plate home for later if this thing passe's /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif....you can work on it and make it sound better, or better yet tell her you have to come up with some sort of strange pic to "out do" some guy in Florida and his tractor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks everyone.

Well, I was almost at the point of calling around and finding the tractor through another source. I like the dealer but if the second date had gone by without a tractor I would have had to try something else. I am glad it worked out because it wasn't the managers fault but bottom line was the summer was going by and I was without.

I don't know if it is better than graduating but it is nice. My place really needs some upkeep that only a tractor could accomplish.

I had stopped posting regarding this situation because having been waiting since the end of June I was beginning to feel like the boy who cried wolf.

The only guy happier than me might be the manager now that he doesn't have to put up with my calls /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As far as "Tractoritis" my wife aint' falling for that one. She's seen my methods in action one to many times /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif The BBQ is close by, so is it bad manners to arrive by tractor? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I will have from 9am until about 1pm to play so I'll make the most of it. Actually I am new to tractors so I will just mow the flat field and get used to it. Might actually be better so I don't rush in and get crazy.

I really do have plenty to do so I will get plenty of tractor time. I am sure I will be posting with questions.

Congrats F350! I can't remember if you got a loader or not but if so you could always fill the bucket with ice and some of your favorite beverages. Show up at the barbque and you'll have everyone green with envy /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

" The BBQ is close by, so is it bad manners to arrive by tractor?"

I don't know I went to our fourth of july party which was about 3 miles down the road in our Gator. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yes I did get the loader and that would be nice, especially since the loader is new and clean.

Cowboydoc,

those Gators sure are cool. I want the one at the dealer with the real gator canopy that's molded out of plastic. My kids love that.
