There's got to be more to this story than your mom and dad wanting to put up some unusual yard art. Can you tell us why they commissioned the totem? Was it something they saw and just took an interest in? You said they got some strange looks while transporting the totem, so I'm assuming this isn't common in their area. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

( My parents commissioned this totem pole by a local (Massachusetts) artist. They got many a strange look when they trailered it to their farm in Maine. Mom didn't take pictures of the installation (Dad used the TC40 to lift it up).

Very interesting project indeed. It appears he could get at least two, maybe three out of one piece of pipe.

I'll bet it was a ton of fun making it too. I mean can you imagine just taking a small plasma and going crazy on a piece of pipe? Yup, fun and very creative.

I just hope he doesn't have happen to his what happened to one of mine.

Check it out.

The hardest part on this project was finding the right sized horseshoes.

A salesman went down the wrong driveway.

Then he backed out and hit something /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

But he knows he didn't hit the rock thingy.

But his boss's wife and friend showed up to inspect the damage.

My quote was unreasonable. So they were going to have a friend who's a welder come out and repair the damage.

I imagine it'll end up in court because my customer doesn't believe their welder can do the rock repair too.

I put it back up but it hasn't been repaired. So if someone messes with it they might find themselves on the wrong end of a rockslide.
