I did find online that Burch Plow Works was formerly Blount Plow Company, producer of the True Blue line

This is for sale by a ebay seller I know from another ebay related forum.

I'm trying to recall the details, but I THINK Burch ended up being absorbed by "Cole" back in the early or mid 1960's. Cole planters was then bought by Covington. Covington/Cole is still in existance. I'd try locating Covington, then enquiring with them about any "Burch" history. Not 100% positive about this.

Back when I first started farming, a local Ford Tractor dealer handled Burch parts, and was a Burch dealer before that. The last Burch 2-row planter I remember looked just like what Ford offered at that time (Ford 309 planter?????)

I think there is another tractor forum called Yesterdays Tractors that has a lot of old vintage stuff. Maybe someone can post the link for you.

I thank you folks for the information you have given me so far.Me and my wife both talk to Randy Burch quite regularly and even the company does not have a lot of info. Please continue to add to this post as more things come to mind.I will tell you all what is happening when I am allowed to.

Thanks again,
Scott

I used to live in SE NC from 84-2002. Mostly tobacco, corn and soybean farms. There used to be a lot of Burch planters and discs down there. The planters were the same as the Ford 309 2-row as already posted.
