Can anyone give me more information on this remote valve that fits the hunder and early thousand series tractors. Assuming it came off of a utility loader tractor.
This valve has ALCO stamped on it with four groups of numbers "3-373", "675", "548", and "7/17/5". Would assume the last one is a mfg date.
The valve has four ports labeled as 1 2 3 4. And when I got it, ports 2 and 3 appeared to be being used and 1 and 4 were plugged. In playing with it I can see if you lift the one lever both ports 2 and 3 opens. I am guessing that this are dual action ports and with the level up one is send and one is return, and with the level down they flip and the other one becomes the send.
But the 1 and 4 port on the bottom appear to function different. Do not have it on a tractor yet so can not test. Could those be two SA ports that are designed to work together.. Up pushes oil in port 1 and releases oil in port4, and down reversed it, pushing oil 4 and release it in 1. Not sure can not tell from my off the tractor testing.
Also any idea where I could get replacement parts if needed?
Thanks for any and all feed back.
