Picked up a vermeer 605K (1993 Model) round baler this last weekend at an auction. Gave 4900 for it, it appears to not been used too much as there was some paint still in bale chamber. Got the bale kicker and gathering wheels.
Has anyone used had much experience with these balers? Pros and Cons of them. Maybe baling some milo stalks, beside normal grass hay.
I aired up the bags to 80 lbs and next day they had gone down to 40 lbs. Is this normal? if not is there anything I can do beside replacing bags or just airing up every day?
Any known problems with these balers?
I called Vermeer and they are sending a manual out for free, that was a nice surprised.
How many run with monitor and who does not
