I bought a Wilson antenna and booster last year. Unbelievable; went from no service inside the house to 4 bars in the basement. $300 some bucks and worth every penny. 4 month payback on dropping land lines. Verizon is our cell provider.

Update: So I called AT&T to make sure we were not going to get penalized for leaving them. The guy looked up my account and said this: "Oh, you are on an old plan, the new plan is much cheaper". WHAAAAT I say? How long has this new plan be out? WHAAAAt...2 years???? And why did I not get a price reduction then? No answer, but he offered to cut my bill from $80 a month to $47.........WhaaaT??? are you kidding me?? "No it's a special rate to offer customers that are thinking about disconnecting".........OMfriggingG!

WOW, what a way to run a business eh:thumbdown: Customer service in this country is really a big big joke.

So, needless to say I am no longer a AT&T customer and it will be a cold day in **** before they ever get me back. So far the Verizon system has worked flawlessly and they ported my old home phone number, so no confusion there.
